The brief is currently ad-free. Here is exactly how advertising would work if it ever runs, and what it will never touch.
What runs where
Today, neither the website nor the brief carries paid advertising. If display ads ever run on the site, they would be served by Google advertising services in fixed, labeled slots; if sponsorships ever appear in the brief itself, each would be labeled “Sponsored” right where it appears — and this page would be updated first.
Consent first
Any ad scripts load only after you opt in to advertising cookies via the consent banner. Without consent there is no tracked advertising, ever. Manage this anytime in Account → Settings or read the Cookie Policy.
The wall
Advertisers and sponsors do not see, approve, or influence what the brief covers. No company can pay to be featured in — or kept out of — a section, and subscriber data is never shared with advertisers.
